These sites are founded on the premise that Jesus died for the whole world and that we need to be about the task of telling them the good news. This is the greatest task that we can invest our lives in. It has the ability to improve the world by bettering the lives of its inhabitants. But even more importantly Jesus deserves the worship that he has purchased by his blood.
The following sites are listed by the interest that they had for me. There are many sites to choose from. Here are the ones that either have the most interesting things to say or provide a lot of interesting factual information about missions. I hope you find these sites interesting
Joshua Project 2000 - Overview of the Joshua Project. This is a good introduction to what missions in all about.
Last Frontier - Describes unreached peoples in the 10/40 window.
World Population - All kinds of population statistics broken down many different ways.
Languages of the World - This is a great site if you are interested at all in languages. It is beautifully constructed and organized. The top 100 languages page is particularly interesting.
Unreached Peoples - Information about the 1,632 people groups that do not have a viable local church. These people are not likely to hear a credible presentation of the gospel in their own language.
