There are many ways to worship. It is a posture of the heart rather than a specific practice. The heart attitude of worship is one of appreciation. We stand in awe of who he is and are overwhelmed by what he has done for us. There is no one like our God. He is infinitely more wise and powerful than his nearest rival. Yet he is merciful on us.
Worship can be expressed by giving our lives to him and allowing him to take control. It means putting Jesus first in everything we do. That includes our families, our jobs, our school, our friends, and our liesure-time activities. Worship means asking what Jesus would do if he were in your shoes right now.
It is hard to worship if we are struggling with being obedient to God. We must settle the issue of his love so that we can experience the full benefit of our relationship with him. The allows us to adore him without reservations. When we do that there is a tremendous release of peace and assurance of his sovereignty.
